Ah! Show 2002 06 to 07 Jul 2002
Ah! stands for A's of Herts (Hertfordshire), Beds (Bedfordshire) and Bucks (Buckinghamshire) Mini Owner's Club, that has an annual show at the Langleybury Children's Farm just off Junction 20 of M25. Click here for the Ah! website.
Saturday was attended by MINI2ers Minty, Ginger, Zippy and mellow yellow (the latter 3 are all Ah! members). Click here for link to Minty's website where photos taken on Saturday could be found (the 5th MINI belongs to a lady Ah! member). MINI2er Dom Mini One (soon to be Dom Mini Cooper) also attended the meet on Saturday. However, he arrived too late to be included in Minty's pictures.
Apple, along with other MINIs/Mini from MINI2, attended the meet on Sunday. Listed below were the other MINI2ers who were present at the MINI2 stand on that day:
dietcokeplease, Jumpy, Zippy, Abi and Paul_Mullett, R50 and felix (as in Mrs. R50), timlowden771, ELISEBOY, Neil Curtis and Neil's Missus, Ginger, MeloYelo, Sandra and Washy, AndyW, robscooper (also present were m1les and dinger who were MINI-less, and Simon Jackson who was there as a representative from Mini Spares)
The area occupied by MINI2ers looked to have been the largest on Sunday. The weather was not so kind, with intermittent drizzle and showers all day. Luckily, Abi and Paul M bought along a gazebo, which was put to good use throughout the day (MINI2ers huddled together to stay warm and dry).
The resultant efforts of those MINIs that entered the Show 'n' Shine competition put the rest of us to shame. Well done to Ginger who came Second in the New MINI section (loosing out to the lady Ah! member). Better luck next time for robscooper, and Neil and Neil's Missus.
As the new MINI was launched on 06 July 2001, MINI2ers used this occasion to celebrate the First Birthday of the MINI (see picture below).
All in all, another grand day out! Here are a selection of pictures taken on Sunday. And yes, we know about the spelling mistake, oops!
A MINI is not just a car - it is a way of life!
