MINI European Tour 30 May to 04 Jun 2002

Red Cooper from MINI2 and DK took their cars over to Europe to meet other European MINIs. En route, they were joined by Cooper i Do from Eindhoven, Netherlands; and hummel from Hamburg, Germany.

After a good night out (thanks to hummel, Mr Hummel, and their friends) the four MINIs drove to Leverkusen just outside Cologne, Germany to meet more MINIs. En route, the 4-MINI convoy achieved 130+ mph (210+ kph) on the autobahn!

Unfortunately, due to unscheduled pit stops and mis-interpretation of the meeting plan, our four heroes missed the meeting point in Leverkusen where the others had been waiting. A great photo opportunity was missed! However, the evening ended on a high note when everyone met up at the restaurant and had 'a whale of a time'.

In all, Apple did a 1556 mile (2504 km) round trip and visited 4 countries (France, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium). Here is a selection of photos taken during this tiring but very enjoyable weekend.
