Pennines Run 30 Jun 2002

This run was organised by cmt, soNyA and Damo of MINI2 fame.

5 MINIs (cmt, Damo, Shaun, Skinnyrunt, and Apple), as well as a steve555's MINI wannabe (his Subaru) took part in the run.

The morning's route took us all over the Pennines, with some great photo opportunities, including the Stonyhurst College where Harry Potter's was shot (certain scenes anyway).

After a good lunch at the Boat Yard Pub, we drove around a bit more before stopping at the Haigh Country Park for a quick game of golf in the rain (terminated after 6 holes due to heavy rain). The journey home was marred by heavy traffic on the M6. Apart from that, it was a jolly good day out.

Sadly, cmt will be MINI-less for a while. However, we hope to see him and soNyA is his MINI wannabe (a Smart car) in future MINI events soon.
